Accounting Technician

Key Responsibilities: Handle daily office and client financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and account reconciliations. Monitor office and client bank accounts for incoming/outgoing payments. Process and authorise large volume and high-value transactions confidently and accurately. Assist with internal and external accounts queries. Ensure compliance with accounts rules, money laundering regulations, and VAT regulations. Manage VAT returns and statutory payments, ensuring deadlines are met. Perform monthly payroll runs and supplier reconciliations. Conduct balance reviews and month-end reporting. Build strong internal working relationships. Key Skills: Qualifications: AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, with a desire to progress into a main Accountant role within 3-5 years. Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage varied tasks. Confidence in managing large value payments. Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel between offices. Flexibility and adaptability in daily work patterns.
