About the job you're considering

We are looking for experienced Senior Business Analysts to join our team and work on an exciting project with our prestigious public sector client. You will be joining a growing profession of 100 Business Analysts (BAs) ranging from apprentices starting out on their careers to BAs with many years of experience. It is imperative you have strong experience in managing, mentoring, and coaching teams, as you will be required to lead teams consisting of junior BAs.

This role benefits from hybrid working; you will be expected to come into our office based in either Telford or Worthing on average two days per week, depending on business requirements. If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and an unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your role

Have people management responsibilities and actively support the development and career progression of other BAs. Work with business stakeholders to define their requirements, translate these into user stories, and define acceptance criteria. Work with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts to deliver an end-to-end solution that meets clients' requirements. Play a pivotal role in projects as part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team. Be highly customer-focused and responsible for building stakeholder relationships. Lead Business Analysis on complex client and internal projects. Understand industry trends, look for new opportunities for work within your projects, contribute to proposals, and drive innovation to increase client value.

Your skills and experience

Support and develop other BAs through people management and mentoring. Work on user-centered product or service development projects. Work in a technical environment, closely with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts. Work in a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team, facilitating and supporting the end-to-end delivery. Work on projects in the Public Sector or other legislative-driven sectors such as Utilities, Energy, or Pharmaceutical. Identify and develop business opportunities with clients. Use ALM Tooling. Understand the architecture and technologies used to deliver a solution. Be the intermediary between business requirements and solution design. Influence strategy and leadership direction within complex engagements. Facilitate workshops, solve complex problems, write documents, and deliver compelling messages. Support and lead scrum team activities and ceremonies to ensure delivery of team goals. Build collaborative stakeholder relationships with a range of colleagues and clients. Become a trusted advisor to our clients and provide coaching where necessary.

BCS Business Analysis certification would be desirable.
