This role would ideally suit an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer with knowledge of site SCADA systems and networks who is looking to further their career within a project environment. Closing Date:

31 Jan 2025 Role Summary

The purpose of the role is to support the Operational and Engineering site teams to facilitate project implementation, on-site interface from initial design through to commissioning stages, and provide Software/SCADA support functions to the Severn Trent Green Power Operational and engineering teams. With a primary focus on improvements in safety, efficiency, data capture, plant asset improvements and upgrades, and handover documentation. Key Responsibilities

Support current PLC, SCADA, and Teamviewer administration, changes, and support the introduction of new technologies into the business mainly through management of contractors. Select, install, and maintain operational IT software, hardware, and Network equipment. Support and improve a variety of APP-based data management and planning systems. On-site project implementation covering smaller task-type projects through to large projects. Larger projects are likely to require research, operational knowledge, training, advice, guidance, and support to achieve the desired outcome. Prepare and maintain key project documentation to ensure clarity and alignment. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. On-site coordination of contractor activities, resources, and tasks that relate to specific projects and ensure jobs costs are kept within cost parameters and provide progress reports. Assist with Engineering project data collation, handover documentation, and training. Ensure that communication between departments and operational sites is ongoing. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Power & Controls Manager, Site Manager, Regional Manager, or Executive team. Key Requirements

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Power Apps, Outlook, Google Sheets, Teamviewer, and SCADA interfaces. Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and Network installation & operation. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience of working within an Operational team. Knowledge of SCADA systems. Familiarity with Asset Management systems. IT or Engineering HNC, Degree, or Equivalent. Full UK Driving Licence. Experience in IT hardware, SCADA systems software, and Network installation and operation. Previous on-site experience within an operational or engineering function. Apply Now
