We are recruiting a Therapeutic Worker to join our innovative Enhanced Therapeutic Community Residential Service in Oakwood, Derby. The service provides Residential Rehabilitation and features on-site staff bedroom and en-suite, gym, and parking. The Role Your role in our therapeutic community will be key. You’ll manage a caseload, assess the people who use our service, and manage their care plans. This will involve developing and applying a range of therapeutic approaches to meet their individual needs, including employment, education, health, and social interaction. You will ensure everything is coordinated from the moment they’re referred to us until they leave. As a Therapeutic Worker, you will support individuals accessing the residential rehabilitation programme to achieve outcomes that foster long-term recovery. Using the Therapeutic Community “community as method” model, you will empower individuals, families, and communities to be confident about recovery. You will support the day-to-day running of the therapeutic community, ensuring that the needs of our service users are met, and the best possible care is provided in an environment that promotes a culture of recovery in line with a recovery-oriented system of care and the Quality Principles. You will manage a case load, providing end-to-end care coordination from admission to discharge planning, ensuring care plans meet the needs of both users of our service and stakeholders. Additionally, you will deliver therapeutic groups, activities, and specialized interventions in accordance with the TC manual and the needs of the service. Previous experience is desirable but not essential. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are values-driven, willing to learn new skills, and possess the compassion to deliver the best service possible to our residents. This is a full-time role averaging 37.5 hours per week. You will be expected to work a 4-week rolling rota that includes evenings, nights, and weekend shifts. About You You will need: An understanding of the complex issues faced by individuals in drug and alcohol recovery. Experience working with families and individuals in the substance use sector or a related field. The ability to be innovative and flexible to meet the needs of the service. To work effectively with multi-agencies while maintaining the excellent reputation of the service. Knowledge of adult and child protection and safeguarding, as you will be working with vulnerable families in a residential setting. Your Rewards Brand new refurbished service. Starting salary of £24,250 with opportunities for yearly salary increments, potentially increasing to
