About the Role As the General Manager, you will take responsibility for the overall management of our motors and gearboxes department. This includes ensuring smooth operations, providing exceptional customer service, and managing a skilled team to deliver outstanding results. You will also be required to work on-call to address urgent operational issues when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the motors and gearboxes department. Manage and lead a team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency and productivity. Ensure the timely delivery of services to meet customer expectations. Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Implement health and safety standards and ensure compliance across operations. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues as they arise. Work on-call to handle urgent matters and maintain seamless service.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in motors and gearboxes, including technical expertise. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work on-call as required. Experience in budget management and operational planning is desirable.
