We’re partnering with a cutting-edge science company relocating its lab to a state-of-the-art Innovation Centre in the North-East.
Specialising in material science and pigment technology, they’re looking to add two Analytical Scientists to their growing team, one with expertise in microscopy and another in chemical analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Microscopy:
Conduct advanced electron microscopy and image analysis.
Support global R&D projects, focusing on coatings and materials science.
Prepare samples using TEM and SEM, analysing pigments and polymer coatings.
Chemical:
Conduct chemical and physical analyses using techniques like ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and Karl Fischer titration.
Maintain and optimize lab equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
Develop and validate new analytical methods for evolving business needs.
About You:
HND or equivalent in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
Experience in analytical chemistry investigations (industry experience preferred).
Hands-on experience with TEM/SEM techniques and sample preparation.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to build global partnerships.
