What you’ll be doing As our Infrastructure Analyst, you’ll be providing hands-on and remote support for infrastructure services, as well as responding to business queries and collaborating with other teams as required. You’ll be reducing risks, improving SLAs and continuously support improvements to tech infrastructure. Provide advanced support for cloud infrastructures such as Microsoft 365 and Azure (including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Intune). Serve as an escalation point for Service Desk, Engineering, and other support teams, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. Act as a Technical Lead for projects involving migrations, implementations, and infrastructure relocations, ensuring smooth execution and minimal downtime. Own complex technical challenges, performing root cause analyses and implementing long-term solutions. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with the Security Lead to implement best-practice configurations for security platforms, such as Azure AD Conditional Access and SSO services. Manage relationships with external network service providers, ensuring SLAs are met and escalating issues as necessary. Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including software and operating system patching, version upgrades, and vulnerability remediation. Provide advanced support for Active Directory, including domain maintenance, Group Policy creation, scheduled software deployments and network policy enforcement. Leverage common technology support tools, such as Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Mobile Device/Application Management systems. What you’ll bring Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows Server and Windows 10/11. Experience with public cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure (including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Intune). Knowledge of IPv4 networking concepts and protocols, including DHCP, DNS, TCP, S/FTP, SMTP, NTP, and VLAN configuration. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) within an Azure environment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively between business and technical teams. Exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure. A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Desirable Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, with a focus on automation and process improvement. AWS Cloud Services: Experience with AWS cloud platforms, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, and ECS, alongside AWS infrastructure management skills. Linux/Unix Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, including practical experience with associated tools and workflows. Financial Services Experience: Previous exposure to trade floor support or the financial services industry is considered a strong asset.
