Head of Finance - Software & Product Development | North London | £150,000 | Technology Business This is a rare opportunity to join a pioneering organisation driving cutting-edge advancements in technology, spanning e-commerce, automation, and hardware. This critical role will oversee a £200m spend, ensuring informed, data-driven capital allocation decisions that drive profitable and sustainable growth. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, including the Chief Engineering Officer and Chief Product Officer, you’ll provide insights into the performance and returns of our innovative technology investments. Key Responsibilities: Strategic ownership of technology financials, including planning, outlook, and investment appraisal. Align financial management approaches with agile development methodologies. Build frameworks to optimise DevOps, cloud computing, and software practices for scalability. Create robust business cases with clear ROI metrics for innovative technology initiatives. Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Drive enhancements in financial tools, systems, and data for long-term efficiency. Ideal candidaten will have: 8–10+ years’ finance experience with significant exposure to technology finance (software and/or hybrid). Extensive business partnering experience, particularly with C-Suite stakeholders. Proven expertise in investment appraisal, decision-making, and financial planning. Relevant accounting qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and leadership skills, thriving in complex, collaborative environments.
