Electronic Test Engineer

to be based at Bournemouth Airport to maintain cutting-edge electronic systems and ensure their readiness for global operational deployment. About the Role: As an

Electronic Test Engineer , you will maintain and test Electronic Warfare and Target Towing equipment essential for Operational Readiness Training across various defence sectors. You’ll ensure these complex mission systems operate safely and efficiently at base and during global operations. This role requires a commitment to delivering quality maintenance while adapting to the unique demands of customer-driven operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned maintenance on mission systems equipment as per operational demands. Investigate and rectify faults at the component level. Prepare, certify, and maintain documentation for all maintenance activities. Support detached global operations, preparing spares and mission-critical equipment. Ensure compliance with Pt.145 regulations and company safety and quality standards. Assist in the certification and release of new parts under regulatory authorisations. Location:

Full time, on-site Requirements: Completed an engineering apprenticeship or recognised equivalent training. Experience in fault finding and rectification to component level. Familiarity with RF, microwave testing, and aerospace wiring standards. Hands-on experience using a range of RF and microwave test equipment. Strong understanding of technical manuals, design data, and publications. Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team. Flexibility to work extended hours and travel for operational requirements. Maintenance experience in Electronic Warfare or Radar environments. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles. Proficiency in IT and MS Office applications. Ability to manage continuous improvement initiatives effectively.
