Our client is a well-established manufacturer within the plastics and chemicals industry based in the Bilston area, seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, mechanical-minded engineer with experience in the repair and maintenance of machinery.
Maintenance Engineer Position Overview
Carrying out repair and maintenance to tooling, equipment, and machinery Minimising machinery downtimes by preventative and reactive maintenance Arranging the maintenance of laboratory equipment Ordering replacement parts and logging maintenance records Installing and commissioning of new equipment Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed
Maintenance Engineer Position Requirements
3+ years of experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineer role Previous experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment Good team working skills Based in a commutable distance of Bilston Good diagnostic/fault finding skills
Maintenance Engineer Position Remuneration
Starting salary £35,000 - £38,000 Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00. Permanent position. Company pension & onsite parking.
