The role is located in Totton just a short drive from Southampton and The New Forest plus access to all major road routes. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities To be an integral part of the nurse-led Satellite Dialysis Unit team, based in Totton, Southampton. To ensure high quality nursing care is coordinated and delivered using a family-focused model of practice. To work as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team ensuring patient care is delivered smoothly and efficiently. The expectations within this job description will be achieved through hands-on clinical practice, education, training, and research. Size of Area: 9 Stations, 2 to 3 shifts a day. Ward Environment: Cleanliness, Safe Environment, Clinical Area. Work: In other areas of WKC: Satellites/Main unit when required. Provide and deliver a high standard of evidence-based nursing care through the assessment, planning, and evaluating of individual patients' needs based on evidence. Initiate and co-ordinate care in the clinical area for a specified group of patients. Intravenous Therapy Skills. Mentors Course. Qualifications Essential Current RN registration with NMC and any other relevant post registration qualifications. BSc Degree in relevant field. Desirable Computer literate, knowledge of patient administration system.
