Now part of Bunzl PLC, we aim to significantly expand our footprint in the UK. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth across key sectors, including construction, warehouse safety and the EV charging sector. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership:

Build the team. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales professionals and business development managers across the UK. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to meet their targets. Market Expansion:

Identify and prioritize target sectors for growth, including construction, warehouse safety, facilities management, and EV charging. Work closely with the team to develop and execute plans for penetrating these markets, leveraging existing relationships, and forging new ones. Continuously analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine sales strategies. Commercial Acumen:

Demonstrate a keen understanding of the market to identify high-potential products and sectors for expansion. Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to ensure that our product offerings meet market demands and align with customer needs. Develop pricing strategies that are competitive yet profitable, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Support the sales team in closing high-value deals, providing guidance and involvement as needed. Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, resolving any issues and ensuring continued partnership. Reporting and Analysis:

Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and team progress to the Managing Director. Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize sales strategies. Establish and monitor KPIs to measure team performance and overall sales success. Key Requirements: Industry Experience:

Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within the construction, facilities management, or EV charging sectors. Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and expanding market presence. Leadership Skills:

Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing sales teams. Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve high performance. Commercial Awareness:

In-depth understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Results-Oriented:
