Senior Data Scientist - Southampton - GBP45,000 - GBP60,000
VIQU have partnered with a fast-growing SaaS and data analytics company who are looking to expand their current team and hire a senior data scientist to lead the development of their simulation and analytics techniques. The ideal candidate will come from a STEM background, holding experience with scripting languages, processed data utilizing databases and data lakes, and previously ran simulations.
This position requires you to be on site twice a week in their modern Southampton office.
Job Duties of the Senior Data Scientist:
Creating data models and data simulations Development of data algorithms and analysis techniques Processing big data Interpreting results from simulations in a real-world setting Working with customers, helping them understand the data and how this impacts their business Requirements for the Senior Data Scientist:
