MPAAS are looking to recruit experienced Smart Meter engineers to work on our commercial contracts. If you are an experienced Smart Meter Engineer looking to move away from residential, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Ideally, we are looking for engineers to be 3 phase qualified. However, as we require all of our engineers working on our commercial contract to be 3 phase, if you are not 3 phased trained currently, we will put you through a 3 phase upskill course.

We have also recently upskilled a number of Engineers to CT Metering.

Regarding the below, if you take into consideration your salary of £37,000, the Health & Safety Bonus of £500 per quarter, and Attendance Bonus of £300 per month, you will be earning up to £42,600 prior to earning any other bonuses.

The full breakdown of the package on offer here at MPAAS is as follows:

Basic Salary:

£37,000 (£40,000 if you have CT Experience) Attendance Bonus:

£300 per month Health & Safety Bonus:

£2,000 - This will be paid £500 per quarter. Daily Meter Fit Bonus:

£20 per meter anything after 5th meter. Warrant Payment:

You will receive an added daily payment when working on warrants along with £15 per completed warrant. Working Hours:

Monday-Friday 42.5 hours per week 8am-5.30pm (1 hour for lunch) Holidays:

23 days + 8 bank holidays. Plus 1 Incremental service day, up to a maximum of 25 days annual leave Holiday Buy & Sell Scheme:

You will be offered the option to either buy up to 5 extra days annual leave (buy 4 get 1 free!), or sell a portion of your untaken annual holiday entitlement that is over the Statutory minimum of 20 days. Private Healthcare Scheme Life Assurance Cover:

Standard Pension of 5% employee, 3% employer Upskill:

If not 3 phase you will be upskilled, also possible opportunity to be upskilled to CT

What we require from you: At least 12 months experience as a qualified Smart Meter Engineer Ideally experience working on warrants; this is not essential but you must be prepared to work on warrants which will include working alongside a Field Welfare Officer & locksmith. Manual driving licence with no more than 6 points Clean DBS check with no unspent convictions Happy to travel to Haydock, Merseyside to complete your 1 week induction along with a one week mentoring programme where you may be required to be away from home
