Key Responsibilities
Configure, maintain and monitor the technology infrastructure for the Group, troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, proactively ensuring that all systems run with optimal performance and security. Accountable for ensuring out of hours coverage for minimal disruption of services and security purposes. Collaborate with the Technology Support Team, ensuring a quality Technology service is provided to the service users. Support the development and implementation of the technology strategy for Personal Group. What we are looking for
Essential Experience of working closely with Software Engineers. Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer supporting production systems. Working knowledge and experience of: Prioritising a wide range of tasks with critical deadlines. Managing and developing technical support resources. Technical troubleshooting and incident management. Server Operating systems and platforms including Microsoft and RedHat Linux. Databases, SQL. Patch management (CE+). Managing Azure and O365 environments. Microsoft Active Directory Administration. TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS. Backup Technologies: Arcserve, Druva. Security Operations: Cyber Security logs detection and prevention. SSO and MFA configuration. Data encryption technologies. Server virtualization technologies such as VMware and Nutanix. Automation: Building and managing Windows and Linux servers. Network devices such as Routers, Switches, HP Aruba, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco. Datacentre Hardware Management and Hardware Cabling. Management and measurement of End user support activities. Management of security vulnerabilities to SLA. Desirable Extensive experience with: PowerShell or other scripting languages. Full Microsoft tech stack (including Azure). Monitoring and alerting for applications, services, and infrastructure. Experience working in an ISO27001 environment. ITIL V4 experience. Security products and services such as Firewalls, End-Point Security, and Penetration and Vulnerability Testing. Rocket Software (Universe). Python. No candidate will meet every single qualification.
