Customer Support Consultant - Fee and Charges Team - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

As a member of the Fees and Charges team, it is our role to ensure the timely and accurate calculation and payment of charges from client accounts. The team also deals directly with customers and advisers to answer any queries regarding charges taken or due to be taken.

Key Responsibilities for this Role

Take ownership for fulfilling a variety of work, which may include:

Maintaining customer accounts

Assessing suitability of new and ongoing investment products and adding or amending them on the platform

Become competent in the use of our online platform, to assist clients and advisers with the tools and online facilities available to them

Work as part of the Operational teams, putting the customers at the heart of everything we do

Demonstrate awareness of the team measures and support how these are used to understand the customer journey

Undertake project and ad hoc tasks where required

Responsible for ongoing compliance with regulatory, statutory and other business requirements.

Contribute to the Finance team and assist the Senior Finance Assistants to ensure the correct and timely completion of tasks including: the accounts payable/receivable process, reconciliation of corporate money; liaising with third parties to ensure accurate reconciliation of client money and custody assets, internal reconciliations including all supporting documentation, ongoing regulatory compliance and financial control; calculation of fees and charges, and general administration

Customer

Own all requests/enquiries from end to end, minimising hand-offs and delivering a personal service

Constantly seek additional knowledge to help provide support to advisers, clients, and colleagues, anticipating their needs and finding solutions to any challenges that arise

Learn from feedback received on how to improve our service proposition and assist colleagues to meet collective business goals

Identify ways to continue improving our processes

Ensure all transactions and enquiries required for the customer are processed accurately and in a timely manner within agreed timescales

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Previous customer service experience

Financial services experience

Strong communication skills
