What are we looking for We have an opportunity for a Logistics Supervisor who will oversee all export operations across Europe and the Rest of the World (ROW). This role requires comprehensive expertise in commercial documentation and hands-on involvement in packing and shipping processes, supporting the company's growth trajectory. The role will oversee the efficient movement of goods, ensuring compliance with all import/export regulations and work seamlessly with freight forwarders and contracted logistics partners. You will be the primary contact for ITM’s materials movements (air, road and sea) and will play a vital part in enabling shipments to our customers to arrive on time and in full. You will also have people management responsibility for the Logistics Co-ordinator and some travel will be required as part of the role. Responsibilities Export Operations Management:

Supervise and coordinate the end-to-end export/import process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to international destinations. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs laws, and country-specific requirements. Documentation and Compliance:

Prepare and review all necessary shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and certificates of origin, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations and ensure all export activities comply with relevant laws and policies. Packing and Shipping:

Oversee the packing of equipment, ensuring it meets safety standards and is optimised for international transport. Coordinate with shipping partners to arrange transportation, negotiate rates and monitor shipment progress. Process Improvement:

Identify and implement strategies to enhance logistics efficiency, reduce costs and improve delivery times. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and support the company's expansion. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers. Communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, and external partners to ensure alignment and address any issues promptly. About You Knowledge and Experience Good application of functional maths and English skills Intermediate software skills Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in international logistics, with a focus on exports to Europe from the UK In-depth knowledge of commercial documentation and international trade regulations Proven experience in packing and shipping large-scale industrial equipment Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency in relevant software, e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365 or logistics-specific tools Skills and Abilities Good time keeping and time management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders and a collaborative attitude Strong organisational skills with a solution-oriented mindset Lateral thinking ability Willingness to engage in hands-on packing with the ability to lift and move packages and assist with shipping tasks as needed What can we offer you The opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a rapidly growing industry, within a dynamic environment where you can shape the future of energy and work with a team that’s actively addressing global climate challenges.
