I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing, dynamic online business in Attleborough for an experienced and qualified Financial Controller. This is a hands-on role within a small, close-knit finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Director as their No. 2.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a forward-thinking, fast-paced company that is poised for further expansion. You'll work operationally across the group businesses, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial functions while contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily financial operations across multiple group entities. Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Lead on cash flow management and ensure robust financial controls are in place. Oversee month-end processes, reconciliations, and statutory reporting. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and guidance. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. Support the Finance Director with strategic projects and growth initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with proven post-qualification experience. Hands-on experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-moving or SME environment. Strong technical accounting skills combined with a commercial mindset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with non-financial teams. Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel. A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
