Here within the Anglian Water @one Alliance we are a totally collaborative organisation made up of our seven partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO) and our extended supply chain, working together to deliver over half of Anglian Water's capital investment programme.

We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period yet, known as AMP8, this will see us deliver a programme of work larger than we've ever delivered before. We'll be embarking on a new kind of project delivery focusing on nature-based solutions like wetlands and urban drainage schemes.

What will you be doing as our new Business Analyst?

As a Business Analyst within our Digital Team, you will work closely with stakeholders, bridge communication gaps, and deliver high-quality solutions. You'll ensure our projects are aligned with business needs, drive process improvements, and contribute to the success of the DD&I (Digital, Data & Innovation) team.

You'll play a vital role in driving change and innovation within the @One alliance, collaborating with an expert team of digital professionals and contribute to projects that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders to clarify functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring that business needs are accurately captured and translated into technical specifications. Identify and implement improvements in current working practices and processes, fostering greater efficiency and effectiveness across the team. Support the tracking of project scope, coordinate interdependencies, and manage small projects or workstreams. Analyse business data and contribute to enterprise architecture development, ensuring continuous growth and improvement of the business' digital capabilities. A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours.... Proven experience in requirements capture and definition, process mapping, and IT project environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills alongside excellent communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of Agile, PRINCE2, ITIL, and project management tools like Jira, MS Project, or DevOps is highly desirable. Ability to work across multiple teams, managing stakeholders and contributing to successful project outcomes.
