Our Housing Options Service is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Housing Officer team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide crucial support to tenants and ensure the smooth running of housing services. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer care while managing tenancy matters, rent collections, and supporting tenants with their housing-related needs. Your responsibilities will include: Managing tenancy agreements and ensuring compliance with housing policies Supporting tenants with a range of housing-related issues, including repairs, complaints, and tenancy queries Effectively managing rent payments and arrears, and providing support to tenants in financial difficulty Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring properties meet required standards Providing advice and support on welfare benefits, financial management, and housing options Preparing and processing legal cases when necessary, including possession proceedings Navigating and maintaining accurate records on the NEC I.T system to ensure up-to-date and accurate information If you are a proactive, empathetic individual who is passionate about making a positive impact within the community and providing exceptional service to tenants, we would love to hear from you.
