You will oversee the production of our financial strategy and its implementation, promote excellent financial management and ensure compliance with our statutory duties. You will have responsibility for budget setting & management, financial accounting, internal audit, and treasury management. So, it’s no surprise that you’ll be an experienced, strategic finance leader with a strong technical understanding of Local Government finance. You’ll have a proven track record of developing and delivering strategic financial advice and services and implementing business and budgetary frameworks in a complex and changing environment. But above all, you’ll have excellent leadership skills and behaviours, essential to leading a confident and high performing service of professionals.
