Probe Technical are looking to recruit a full time and permanent Service Engineer for one of the UKs largest manufacturers of equipment. With their machinery distributed worldwide, they are looking to expand in the service department, and this would be a great time to join a business that is extremely busy with plenty of work. We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Service Engineer with hydraulic, mechanical and general electrical experience.
You will drive a company van across the UK and travel abroad, repairing and commissioning. When not out on the road, you will be based at the site in Nottingham, refurbishing second hand machinery.
The package details for the role of Service Engineer include:
Salary £40,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
Monday – Friday days, 8am – 5pm.
Plenty of overtime due to some overnight stays
Company Pension
Company van and credit card provided.
For the role of Service Engineer, we are keen to talk to people who have experience with mechanical and hydraulic machines. General electrical ability - wiring motors and control panels etc and Welding experience. Other key duties involve:
Recycling machinery or with any similar machinery: conveyors, metal or mining equipment etc
Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
Experience with pneumatics is an advantage.
Forklift experience is a plus.
The Service Engineer role is commutable from Derby and Nottingham but can cover UK and worldwide.
