Reliability Engineering

Conducts GAP-analysis and leads the implementation of the Reliability Excellence (Rx) program. Performs Asset Criticality analysis and develops best practice maintenance strategies. Creates and implements reliability programs, procedures, and guidelines, such as the Rx-matrix. Assists in developing predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. Analyzes maintenance and production data to support Rx-related improvement projects. Conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical asset failures and leads RCA when necessary. Determines Critical Spares and performs Min-Max calculations. Collaborates with the Regional Reliability Excellence team to enhance the program. Participates in the Regional community of practice to share knowledge and best practices. Leads training sessions on Reliability Engineering and Materials Management principles. Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Possesses working knowledge of CMMS and provides first-call response to user issues. Leads the implementation, enhancement, and upgrade of CMMS as needed. Provides hands-on training on CMMS for new users and stays updated with the latest technologies. Project Management

Leads Reliability Excellence continuous improvement projects using structured problem-solving and project management methodologies. Guides project teams to achieve objectives and continuously improve the Reliability Excellence program and CMMS system. Prioritizes multiple projects, budgets, and timelines. Attends contractor bid walk meetings and provides process knowledge during equipment installation and project implementation. Offers Reliability Engineering design input for smaller capital and continuous improvement projects. Participates in design reviews for capital projects and supports maintenance plan creation for new equipment. Engages in new process or facility commissioning and start-ups. Develops effective working relationships with peers and management on-site and with the Regional Reliability Excellence Team. Provides input on purchasing process, packaging, and material handling equipment. Participates in Factory Acceptance Testing at vendor facilities when requested. Assists in selecting and qualifying equipment vendors and contractors to minimize construction faults, time delays, and legal issues. Development of Systems, Tools, and Processes

Increases knowledge of technology used in the manufacturing and packaging of coatings. Learns and retains tools to positively impact plant safety, operating costs, quality, service, and personnel. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related field or a time-served apprentice with an HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering plus significant experience. Hands-on Engineering experience with proven reliability improvements and application of reliability principles. Strong interpersonal, project management, organizational, leadership, decision-making, and relationship-building skills. Experience with reliability tools and methodologies such as FMEA, RCA, RCM, Statistical Analysis, Condition Monitoring, Asset Criticality analysis, and benchmarking. Experience in spare part management, critical spares, and Min-Max level calculations. What We Offer
