Working closely with architects, engineers, and distributors, they deliver advanced drainage system solutions for rainwater collection across a wide range of projects.

The Opportunity

As part of a dedicated national sales team, you will be responsible for gaining usage for our Client’s products through securing and defending specifications, working closely with Architects, D&B Contractors, Public Health Engineers and Civil Engineers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Raise the Company’s profile with the customer base outlined above.

Develop existing relationships and create new ones so that our Clients’ Drainage products are the customers 1st choice.

Understand the specification process with Civils Engineers, Architects and D&B Contractors.

Raise the Company’s profile within its existing Specification base and build new relationships.

Look for new specification and project opportunities.

Deliver training presentations and product presentations to Contractors and CPD presentations to Consultants/Architects.

Problem solve and offer technical assistance at project design stage.

Take a project from inception to Main contractor on site stage gaining specification for as many projects as possible.

Look to take the company’s products into new markets i.e. food and hygiene.

Deal with customer’s day to day requirements.

A knowledge of reading site drawings is essential.

Promote and sell new product ranges.

Assist with New Product Development areas where necessary.

Person Specification

Self-motivated individual who can work well either on their own or in a team.

Clean driver’s license is essential.

Competent IT skills are required, will need to know how to use MS Office & Outlook.

Good communication skills with a friendly approach are needed.

Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail is a must.

Sound business acumen and an ability to communicate with colleagues and customers to assist the closing of sales opportunities.

A high degree of professionalism and a good understanding of Specifier, Contractor and Merchant relationships is required, with the ability to communicate at each of these levels where necessary.

Ability to prioritise work according to demand and work alongside Area Sales Managers priorities to deliver customer service excellence.

Training

All necessary training in relevant aspects of our Client’s business will be provided along with continuous training and development opportunities.
