An exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a team in a professional services firm, based in Swansea. The role will require a strong focus on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Client Details The organisation is a well-established professional services firm within the legal sector, employing over 1,000 individuals. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services to its clients across various sectors. Description Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting Provide management reporting for decision-making, including project appraisal, post-investment appraisals Implement and maintain financial controls and systems within the business, identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures Liaise with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context Manage the audit process, liaising with external auditors Oversee all tax and regulatory/compliance issues Contribute to the financial strategy and decision-making process Manage a small team Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to strategise and solve problems Strong communication and presentation skills Experience in system implementation Job Offer A competitive salary range of £40,000 - £48,000 per annum The benefit of a hybrid working model, offering the flexibility of remote work Generous holiday leave A supportive, inclusive, and team-oriented company culture Opportunity to work in a company that values professional development Don't miss this opportunity to join a leading professional services firm in Swansea.
