Key Responsibilities

As a BIM Technician, you will take ownership of a range of design and planning activities associated with Replacement and Capital projects mainly focussed on multiple occupancy building (MOB) riser designs. Other projects include network connections, reinforcement, mains replacement, and diversions. You will ensure all designs and plans adhere to strict safety, technical, and legislative policies and procedures. Safety is at the heart of what we do. You will promote a positive safety culture by demonstrating visible, proactive, and consistent behaviours. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying risks in designs and implementing measures to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with SHEs-related policies, Construction Industry Safety Legislation, and Cadent's standards. You'll also be a champion for process improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and applying best practice methodologies to enhance efficiency and project outcomes. Skills and Experience

We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background and practical experience in design and planning processes. You should have proficiency in AutoCAD 18 or higher, with experience in Autodesk Revit being highly desirable. Practical experience with BIM-enabled software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 is essential. You will have extensive experience with network design processes and demonstrate confidence in discussing technical issues with stakeholders at all levels. A proven track record of managing relationships with both internal and external interfaces is vital, as is experience in delivery planning within a network model, including the graphical representation of detailed phasing. This role requires a dedicated professional who can meet strict deadlines without compromising on quality. You should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to demonstrate initiative in tackling complex challenges. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you'll be required to articulate technical information effectively to various audiences. If you are ready to make an impact by combining technical expertise with innovation, we would love to hear from you. This is your chance to join a forward-thinking team and contribute to groundbreaking projects that redefine industry standards. This is a 6 month FTC
