We are looking for an experienced management accountant to take on this key role in the finance function during an exciting period of growth in the Company. The successful candidate must ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner, produce high-quality management accounts within set deadlines, and take an active part in the development and transformation of the finance team. Key responsibilities: Production of the monthly management accounts and other regular reporting requirements. Profit & Loss review including playing a key role in direct and indirect cost control. Month-end close activities including posting and reviewing journals for accruals, prepayments, reclassification, and adjustments. Balance sheet review and detailed supporting reconciliations. Supporting year-end audit work. Providing support during the annual budget process and periodic forecasts. Working with the AP, AR, and other management accountant team members to streamline processes and to transform the finance function. Additional ad-hoc activities as required. Requirements: Qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent. Experience of producing accurate management information within a short close period. Proficiency in using accounting software (posting journals, running reports, etc.) Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially Excel. Strong teamwork focus. Good oral and written presentation skills. Right to live and work in the UK. Ability to pass Company background and criminal record checks.
