Our customer, a UK-based law firm, is seeking Paralegals with experience in either Real Estate or Corporate (M&A) law for a permanent role to join their legal team in Birmingham. The role will require a combination of office and remote work, with three days per week in the office in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities: Assist with legal research, document preparation, and review for corporate (M&A) or real estate transactions. Support senior lawyers in the management of client matters, ensuring efficient progress and coordination of tasks. Draft and manage the preparation of standard legal documents and contracts related to real estate or corporate transactions. Maintain and organize case files, keeping them up to date and ensuring that all relevant documentation is correctly filed. Liaise with clients and other external parties to obtain necessary information and assist in the transaction process. Assist in the due diligence process, including the review of documents and preparing summaries. Provide general administrative and legal support to senior lawyers as required. Support the team with various legal and transactional tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and the highest quality of service is provided. Key Requirements: 2-5 years of experience as a Paralegal, ideally within a private practice environment. Strong background in either Corporate (M&A) or Real Estate law, with hands-on experience in either area. Experience supporting senior lawyers with complex transactions. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high standard of work. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and client service.
