Senior Practitioner HMP Wayland
Full time permanent contract 37.5 hours per week
Hours of work: MON-THURS 08.00-16.30, FRI 08.00-13.30
25 days Annual leave rising yearly to a maximum of 30 days
HMP Wayland is a Cat C men's prison located near Thetford in Norfolk. Our service focuses on supporting those who want to address their current or past substance use issues. We deliver psycho-social interventions on a 1-1 basis and in groups. We carry out comprehensive assessments and formulate person centred care plans based on the clients' needs and risks. Roles and Responsibilities: You will line manage and support a small team. You will have a desire to contribute to the management team such as data and workload management. You will have some management experience or training such as managing volunteers or sessional staff. You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. You will have a desire to work in collaboration with other agencies such as healthcare, mental health, and community agencies.
