Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Night Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of our facility's equipment and systems during night shifts. This role is crucial in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and enhancing operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment during the night shift. Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate schedules and repairs. Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergencies. Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff. Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture.

Qualifications:

School diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in engineering or a related field preferred. Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work night shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.

Working Conditions:

- Night shift hours, with potential overtime as required. - Fast-paced environment with varying workloads.
