required to join a friendly family-owned SME Architectural Practice located in their new studio, a converted mill in Huddersfield HD1 complete with excellent local amenities and free parking.

Our client, best known for their work within the Residential, Industrial & Commercial & SEN Education sectors, currently have the following schemes on the drawing board which are located across the UK:

Various contemporary new build bungalows One-off bespoke new build homes SEN Education projects Residential Care Homes Modular Construction projects

Experienced Senior Architectural Technologists with circa 5-10 years plus of UK based Architectural Practice experience would be the ideal level of experience, but more or less will be considered. A Senior Architectural Technologist who is keen to be hands-on working with their clients in a job running and client-facing capacity, and ideally someone who is keen to learn how to run a small business and be involved in playing a leading role in its future.

Key Aspects of this Senior Architectural Technologist position are as follows: HNC / Degree qualified Architectural Technician / Technologist Minimum 5-10 years post qualification experience within a UK based Architectural Practice AutoCAD experience essential, a working knowledge of REVIT would be highly advantageous; training can be provided Experience of working in the aforementioned sectors Work as part of a team of 3-4 fellow colleagues and mentoring junior members of staff Good knowledge of the Building Regulations and technical knowledge for the preparation of drawings at RIBA Stages 3 - 6 Ability to use Microsoft Teams for collaborating with the team A person of good character, a team player and committed to excellent standards Keen to play a hands-on role in the development of a small business Meticulous approach to construction detailing and a good knowledge of how buildings are constructed
