We're seeking a medical writer with publications experience to join a highly-regarded #MedComms agency, onsite/hybrid in the North West, Manchester, or Oxford. You'll play an important role in developing impactful scientific content across various formats, directly supporting advancements in cancer research and the success of an important publications account. About the Role You'll develop high-quality scientific content across various formats, with a particular focus on oncology publications. Working alongside experienced scientific leads, you'll help shape how cutting-edge research reaches the medical community. This is a hybrid role, blending remote work with the option to work from offices in Macclesfield, central Manchester, or Oxfordshire. Day-to-day you'll be... Developing scientific content for various materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to editorial standards Conducting thorough research using key scientific databases and sources Performing quality control checks on data and references, maintaining rigorous attention to detail Collaborating with internal teams and external experts to deliver exceptional project work Managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements What we're looking for... Life sciences degree, MSc/PhD preferred (e.g., biomedical science, pharmacology, medicine, or related topics) Medical writing experience, particularly publications, in a MedComms agency (minimum ~1-1.5 years) Great editorial skills with exceptional attention to detail Understanding of publication guidelines (GPP, ICMJE, ABPI) Excellent organizational and time management abilities In return...
