The Role
As a
Senior Associate
in the Clinical Negligence team, you will: Manage a varied caseload of high-value and complex clinical negligence claims, including those involving catastrophic injuries and multi-million-pound settlements. Work closely with clients to provide empathetic, clear, and strategic legal advice tailored to their unique circumstances. Oversee all aspects of claims, including investigations, instructing experts, negotiating settlements, and conducting litigation. Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment. Engage in business development initiatives, including networking, speaking engagements, and thought leadership activities. Play an active role in contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the Clinical Negligence department in Cardiff What We’re Looking For We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor who: Has

+ years PQE
with substantial experience in clinical negligence litigation, particularly handling high-value and complex claims. Demonstrates strong technical expertise in case preparation, litigation, and settlement negotiations. Is empathetic and client-focused, with the ability to build trust and rapport with vulnerable clients. Possesses excellent communication and advocacy skills, both written and verbal. Is proactive and commercially aware, with a track record of contributing to business development. Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys mentoring junior colleagues.
