Ensure the optimal performance of IT systems and services in a fast-paced environment as a Service Desk Support Engineer.

This company provides fully assured and managed IT services to its customers with security and integrity of customer data at its core.

You will be responsible for providing support and guidance with any IT issues.

About the Role:

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, printers, networks, and other IT-related tools. Manage and resolve user requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems. Assist in onboarding new users, setting up hardware and software, and configuring user accounts and permissions.

About You:

Proven experience in IT support, technical support, or helpdesk roles. A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering (or a related field). Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively. Eligibility: British Citizens Only Due to Security Clearance Requirements.

Key Information:

Role: Service Desk Support Engineer Salary: £26,000-£30,000 Per Annum Location: Watchfield, Swindon Working hours: This role requires the ability to work in a 24/7/365 rotational shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Skills:

Desktop support, troubleshooting, IT systems management, shift work.

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
