The Geography Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons to students. They will create engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback. The teacher will also maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in Geography or a related field
Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level
Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to inspire and motivate students
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Experience using digital tools and technology in the classroom
The Geography Teacher will work in a school environment, following the academic calendar. They may need to collaborate with other faculty members and participate in professional development activities.
