About the Role

As our Automation Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing state-of-the-art automation solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes, ensure product quality, and drive operational excellence. You'll work with advanced technologies including SIMATIC PCS 7 systems, PLCs, and modern SCADA platforms while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards.

What You'll Do

Design and implement innovative automation solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes Develop and maintain sophisticated control systems, including PLC programming and HMI design Lead the configuration and maintenance of SIMATIC PCS 7 systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements Conduct system validation activities and risk assessments Create comprehensive documentation for automated systems

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) 5+ years of industrial automation experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing Expert knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens S7) Proven experience with SIMATIC PCS 7 systems Strong background in SCADA systems and HMI development Deep understanding of industrial communication protocols Knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Preferred Experience

Siemens PCS 7 certification Experience with batch control systems and ISA-88 standards Knowledge of data historian systems and MES Background in Industry 4.0 and IIoT technologies Experience in aseptic manufacturing environments
