We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our Sales Team covering East Anglia West and surrounding areas, supporting sales of our Trauma Portfolio across the region. Working closely with an experienced Sales team, you will develop and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders. You will take an active part in customer education in the field, supporting the region to achieve greater customer engagement and commercial success. You will actively pursue business opportunities to grow Stryker business in targeted accounts, and always display exemplary customer service and patient focus. Key tasks: Develop the skills required to become an effective sales representative. Learn and practice the techniques required to grow the volume of a defined territory through sales of Trauma products. Manage business in accounts within an existing sales territory and become responsible for the day-to-day running of key accounts. Become proficient in dealing with stock issues, instrument requirements, organising loan kits, and conducting regular customer training. Support other sales managers to allow them to concentrate on new business acquisition and account development. This is a training role with a view to becoming a full-time Sales Representative with independent targets and business objectives. Key activities & accountabilities: Learn to manage a territory effectively and grow business in line with Regional sales objectives. Implement training sessions and workshops on the use of Stryker Trauma products for nurses, theatre practitioners, and surgeons. Understand customers’ needs and identify opportunities to promote and sell Stryker’s products. Provide customer service to an existing customer base within the theatre and clinical environment. Maintain a focus on providing appropriate medical care for patients and recommend only suitable products. Work closely with other Sales team members and the Regional Business Manager to ensure best-in-class customer service levels. Demonstrate outstanding ethics at all times and represent Stryker positively. Conduct trials and evaluations of products in theatre and clinical environments as required. Record details of customers and maintain a basic business plan highlighting objectives. What you need? Science or business-based educational background or relevant experience. Some sales, business, or clinical experience is advantageous. Commercial acumen and an interest in dealing with customers. Computer skills, specifically MS Office. Presentation skills with modern media. An interest in anatomy and physiology. A background demonstrating the ability to engage, influence, and motivate others.
