CLEANER REQUIRED
From 10th February 2025 or sooner if possible
10 hours per week 3:30 - 5:30pm - Monday - Friday
Grade A Scp 2 £6,014.28 to Scp 3 £6,108.60 (£12.26 to £12.45 per hour)
Contract: Permanent
We are seeking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to deliver a high-quality cleaning service within the school. The role is responsible for providing cleaning services at St Matthew’s CE Primary School (Little Lever).
You will be required to undertake general cleaning duties including:
Sweeping
Mopping
Vacuuming
Emptying bins
Toilet cleaning
You will need a good level of physical fitness; you’ll be task-focused and motivated to get the job done. Previous experience is not necessary, but you’ll need to be able to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An Enhanced DBS with check of relevant barred list is therefore required for this post.
This post is a designated customer-facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.
