We are seeking a skilled VCF and NSX Senior Consultant to join our growing team at Comms-care. The ideal candidate will work closely with our channel partners, and their customers, designing and building innovative solutions based on VMware Cloud Foundation.

You will also need to have active Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance to be considered for this position. Key Responsibilities Design and Implementation:

Architect and deploy VMware Cloud Foundation environments aligned to the VCF reference architectures Implement and configure NSX solutions for networking, security, and micro-segmentation. Design and deployment of Aria Suite solutions in conjunction with VCF Design disaster recovery and high-availability strategies within the VCF ecosystem. Deploying Cloud Foundation solutions on-premises and as part of a hybrid cloud solution

Client Engagement:

Collaborate with clients in a workshop format to gather requirements and propose tailored Cloud Foundation solutions. Produce logical and physical design documentation Creation of day 0 and day 1 operations guides and runbooks.

Optimisation and Upgrade

Optimisation of VCF and NSX configurations for performance, scalability, and security. Upgrade of VCF infrastructure, particularly in disconnected environments.

Integration and Automation:

Integrate VCF and NSX with third-party tools and services to enhance functionality. Deploy and configure VCF and Aria Suite using automation Develop automation scripts using tools like PowerCLI, vRealize Automation, and Ansible.

Documentation and Training:

Produce comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational guides, and runbooks. Undertake validation testing of a completed VCF solution for handover. Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to upskill client teams on VCF and NSX technologies.

Key Skills and Qualifications Essential Skills: DV Cleared Extensive experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX In depth knowledge of the various VCF reference architectures and their specific use cases. Strong knowledge of core networking principles along with experience implementing micro-segmentation, distributed Firewall, and software-defined networking. Hands-on experience with automation tools (eg, PowerCLI, Python, Ansible). Desirable Skills: VMware Advanced (VCAP/VCIX) Certifications relating to VCF and NSX Familiarity with multi-cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with containerisation technologies (eg, Kubernetes, Tanzu). Experience designing and deploying Aria Automation If you have the skills and experience, please send your CV in for review.
