Our client is working exclusively for an SME in Lincolnshire. They are recruiting for a Head of Finance on a Fixed Term Contract. As Head of Finance, you will be working with a fantastic team with big plans. This organisation strives to be industry leaders and is committed to excellence. It is a People Centric business with lots of interesting projects and growth plans.

The Role Responsibilities include: Responsibility for the commercial interface with all customers. Monthly/quarterly pricing and reconciliations. Annual customer negotiations on inflation - understanding key market cost drivers. Ensure full understanding of the financial impact on the business of any customer's strategic decisions including promotions and other trade opportunities. Costing work for new business. Management of weekly and month-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are complete and accurate to drive control through the monthly accounts process. Ensuring the accuracy of all primary statements, P&L, Balance, and Cashflow, and explaining material variances to both budget and prior year. Driving reporting accuracy between the sum of the weekly flash accounts and the final month-end management accounts. Preparation of year-end statutory accounts from year-end close down through to statutory accounts preparation. Preparation of year-end audit file with the wider finance team. Being the lead point of contact for the audit process. Ownership of corporate and VAT and R&D tax requirements from a statutory perspective. Filing of dormant accounts and other smaller statutory reporting requirements as needed. Responsibility of the monthly cash flow forecast, profiling projected EBITDA, working capital movements, and forecasted capex spends. Reviewing capital expenditure papers submitted by the General Managers to ensure they meet the capital expenditure hurdle rates. Monitoring Capex spend versus budget. Finance lead on the system implementation project, designing/developing weekly/monthly reports. Ensuring system adherence to maintain data integrity. Development and coaching of direct reports.

Skills and Qualifications ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified.
