The Technical Sales Specialist ensures the successful sales and marketing initiatives of both new and existing applications by delivering highly specialized technical support to the mining sales team. Detailed description:

The Technical Sales Specialist accelerates new product utilization, responsible for allocated budget and growth goals. Serving as the foremost technical subject matter expert for new applications and solutions to our customers, the specialist offers tailored technical guidance and support to the business, both on customer sites and within depot locations. Responsibilities span the entire spectrum of successful new sales, business development, and product introduction, covering project design and project/site delivery. The Technical Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in transferring knowledge and building capabilities within the local sales team. Regular travel within the home country and across Auspac is integral to this role. Responsibilities: Subject Matter Expertise and Knowledge Transfer: Build personal knowledge of Aggreko's new products and aspire to become a subject matter expert. Guide and influence local sales teams, transferring knowledge and building capabilities. Technical Support and Customer Excellence: Elevate the business’s customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries via the sales department. Collaboration and Project Implementation: Liaise with Aggreko technicians and management to provide technical solutions for both low and high voltage applications. Promote Green Solutions: Lead site and project delivery of hybridised and low emission solutions, setting an example for greener upgrades and ensuring success for customers. Technical Drawings: Interpret, modify, and analyze technical drawings to establish parameters for safe and efficient solutions. Ensure compliance with Aggreko HSE policies and procedures. Provide feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and integration processes. Formulate a technical application sales plan for the allocated region. Regular customer visits in the allocated region to provide excellent customer feedback. Familiarity with greener energy solutions, and emerging trends in the industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Dedication to safety, quality, and customer experience, coupled with a familiarity with industry regulations and standards. In-depth understanding of factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration. Possesses basic project management skills.
