Westlakes Recruit are currently looking for a Project Engineering Manager for a hybrid, contract role based in West Cumbria.
The Project Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple multi-disciplinary engineering designs to meet the project specification, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements. The suitable candidate will: Coordinate and manage multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver Detailed Engineering Packages. The work covers all disciplines, with the majority of work performed by Sub-Contractors. Manage projects for new buildings, demolition, CE&I & Mechanical Installs. Depending on the project size/complexity, there would be a Responsible Engineer for each discipline, and the PEM would then manage that integration. Civils is the predominant discipline, but a discipline bias is not essential. Require regular time at the Office project location, 2 days per week minimum but can be discussed. Have experience managing multi-discipline teams during the FEED and EPC stages of sector or similar projects. Nuclear experience would be preferred but not essential. Be degree qualified or equivalent in an engineering discipline. Professional Qualification e.g. CEng or equivalent is preferred.
