Interim SHEQ Manager
Rate: ~£(Apply online only)/day (Outside IR35) (DOE) Duration: ~3 months (potential for extension)

Are you an experienced health and safety interim professional with a background in waste and recycling, based in Derbyshire?
If so then you could be an excellent fit for an Interim SHEQ Manager role. The role is focused on promoting a positive health and safety culture and improving health and safety performance across the company. This is a regional role covering multiple sites with the main office based in the Derbyshire area.
Responsibilities of the Interim SHEQ Manager will include:
Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for Health, Safety and Environment. Auditing Health, Safety and Environment performance, accurately reporting and investigating any incidents, accidents or near misses. Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff, and external regulators. Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance. Supporting on the development and improvement of the ISO management systems 9001 and 45001.
The successful Interim SHEQ Manager will have: Proven experience in a similar role within waste, environmental services or a related industry. NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. IOSH). The ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation. An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety.
