Monday – Thursday - 8am -4pm, Friday - 8am -3.30pm

Salary:

Pathway 4, point 14 – 18, £24,405 - £26,054 per annum, (FTE £28,624 – £30,559)

Role Overview:

As a Family Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in providing pastoral care by liaising directly with families to support the wellbeing of our students. You will address the needs of students who require help to overcome barriers to learning, both inside and outside the academy. Your responsibilities include:

Developing mentoring relationships with students.

Liaising with families to ensure their needs are met.

Working with external agencies to provide appropriate interventions.

Leading on Early Help Assessments and serving as a Designated Safeguarding Officer.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

Strong communication skills.

The ability to work empathetically with students and families.

Experience in working with young people and external agencies.

Practical knowledge of IT packages.

An understanding of good customer care practices.

The ability to prioritise and organise conflicting demands.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
