Due to an expansion within the business, my client is looking to add to their Project Management team with the addition of a Purchasing Administrator.

We are looking for an ambitious individual. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you.

THE ROLE:

Booking goods in on ERP / MRP System and placing orders for any sub-contract activities. Procurement of raw materials to specification & the procurement of bought-in items to specification. Interacting with and chasing suppliers over the phone and via email to ensure on-time delivery. Maintaining the CRM/ERP system with accurate purchase order & subcontract purchase order delivery dates. Booking of transport for shipping purposes.

THE PERSON: Proven purchasing experience, ideally this experience will be of at least 2-3 years and will have involved the purchasing of raw materials. Experience in using an ERP / MRP System is essential. A confident self-starter with the ability to prioritise and proactively manage their own workload. Experience in building supplier relationships, face to face and over the phone. A working knowledge or demonstrable understanding of dealing with subcontractors would be highly advantageous.
