Skanska has teamed up with National Highways to deliver the A47 road improvement scheme to reduce congestion and improve safety on the A47. As such, we are looking for a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join our infrastructure team. The role will primarily be based on-site, with initial work at our A428 office in St Neots, followed by a transfer to our A47 office in Thurrock. What you'll do:

Support the Chief Engineering Surveyor and/or the Engineering Survey Manager in coordination across all technical work streams. Develop the engineering survey teams to meet project needs. Ensure that the project has the appropriate survey control network to fulfill the construction requirements. Set out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commence. What you'll bring to the role:

Degree in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying, or ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying and previous experience as a Senior Engineering Surveyor. Extensive awareness of appropriate survey instruments, software, and working methods. Full professional Membership of CICES or equivalent body. Commercial acumen.
