Are you a seasoned Azure professional with a passion for security and access management?

Synechron is looking for a highly skilled Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join our dynamic team working with a leading name in FS. In this role, you will be responsible for governing and documenting various aspects of identity and access management within the Azure cloud environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of the organisation's Azure resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure PAM Governance:

Design processes and controls to assure PAM Governance and ensure implementation by team members.

Azure PIM Governance:

Design processes and controls to assure PIM Governance and ensure implementation by team members.

Azure AD Role Management:

Design checks and balances to verify that Azure AD Roles are being created correctly (preferably by automated means) and meet business needs.

Access Packages:

Ensure Access packages are aligned to business needs and work to retain this alignment.

Security Auditing and Monitoring:

Continuously monitor Azure AD and Azure resources for security events, anomalies, and potential threats. Respond to security incidents promptly and follow incident response protocols.

Documentation:

Plan the scope of documentation and oversee its creation.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience in Azure Identity and Access Management, including Azure AD roles, resource roles, access packages, Azure policies, and conditional access policies.

Knowledge of Azure security best practices and compliance standards.

Experience with identity federation, role-based access control (RBAC), and Azure Active Directory B2B/B2C.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

(Ideally) Azure certifications such as AZ-104 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate), AZ-500 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate), or equivalent.
