Overview We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Café Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our café. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing a café, strong leadership skills, and basic cooking abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about healthy living and excellent customer service. Full time role: 39 hours per week, Monday - Saturday. Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of the café, ensuring seamless and efficient service. Lead, motivate, and train staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Supervise food preparation and ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations. Assist with basic cooking and food preparation as required. Manage stock levels, place orders, and maintain inventory to minimize waste and control costs. Manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during operating hours. Handle customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally. Ensure the café is consistently clean, welcoming, and well-presented. Work with the wider team to develop promotions and strategies to attract customers and boost sales. Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability, and implement improvements where necessary. Work with our Consultant Nutritionist to maintain a relevant and appealing menu offering. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience in café management or a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Basic cooking abilities and a good understanding of healthy food preparation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage budgets and work towards financial targets. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
