Supporting the business and customers to make decisions that enable maximum growth for Freixenet Copestick in the Still Wine category. Working closely with the marketing and sales teams to harness customer data and insights to develop our status as market leaders in the wine category. Freixenet Copestick are a major player in the UK’s drinks market and the leading supplier of Sparkling wine. The company boasts an extensive portfolio across Still Wine, Sparkling Wine, Beer and Spirits and has proven success in NPD launches. Key Responsibilities

Partner with selected retailers and be the ‘go to’ category expert/voice of the shopper for the wine category. Actively assist with retailer category requests. Assist with ad-hoc analysis and projects for other retailers as required. Assist with NPD sell in by retailer with relevant insight linked to the category. Present to retailers along with sales and marketing teams. Work with our agency partners to provide opportunities for mutual growth. Lead retailer brand planning days, assisting with category rationale and strategy that ultimately helps to grow the FXC business. Keep up to date with industry news and latest trends within the BWS category. Conduct store visits to maintain knowledge around retailer ranges and merchandising. Internal/Business Focus

Champion the category vision within the business, using it to actively seek opportunities for business growth. Identify NPD trends and opportunities aligned to the category vision to drive future growth. Development and evolution of category reporting. Lead development and presentation of category reviews to the business e.g. Christmas review to summarise company performance and identify business growth opportunities for the future. Develop category rationale that assists with gaining listings and extending distribution for Freixenet Copestick products in line with the targets set for the year. Conduct competitor analysis in the market to see what is working well for which retailers. Provide input as required for internal and supplier meetings along with any ad-hoc requests. Person Specification

Experience with data analysis and insights, preferably within an FMCG environment. Track record of using insights to deliver positive commercial outcomes. Comfortable using market data – previous experience with Circana, Kantar and Dunnhumby preferred. Strong presentation skills – the ability to articulate and deliver information clearly and concisely. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Commercially astute. Excellent organisational skills. Commitment to company values and motivated by team achievement. Interest in wine or grocery sector. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Hybrid working, at least three days per week in the office Working in a Category team of four Primary work location is Newbury which is wheelchair accessible, with step free access and on-site parking Company Benefits
