JOB TITLE: Business Agility Lead (Agile Coach)
SALARY: £62,874-69,860 per annum
LOCATION: Chester
HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, in our Chester office; as such, we can only consider applications that are based within a commutable distance from our office in Chester. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Business Agility Lead
(BAL), that will support teams across the bank in
agile coaching
driving effectiveness, efficiency and predictability to deliver value to customers and colleagues at pace.
In this role you’ll:
Work hand in hand with Lab Leaders (lab typically comprises 100-150 colleagues), who hold accountability for performance and maturity, whilst
providing coaching and transferring capabilities
so that teams are ultimately
able to do this for themselves
in time.
Use your experience in
product delivery
and
customer-centric
value hypothesis to empower and drive
mindset and culture change
across the labs.
Understand data and insights
and use it to
problem-solve
and support Lab performance and
productivity
to drive lab
cadence, and data quality.
Be jointly responsible for the performance of the lab including
data quality ,
optimising flow of work, Lab topology,
and
agile practices .
Introduce proactive continual improvements and coach back to delivery when off track.
Support colleagues within your lab and platform to
implement and refine agile practices
(e.g. Scrum, Kanban, scaled frameworks etc.), using experience, data and relevant business knowledge.
Put your
expertise in the different agile approaches
into practice and use your own judgement to
decide when and where to apply them, whilst ensuring they are embedded throughout.
Use your knowledge in
Agile Methodology and Tooling , to
stand up new agile teams , providing
coaching and advice
and sharing experience on the most appropriate methods and tools to use for the specific work required.
Support and coach teams
with various techniques,
including facilitation, training and education where required and continuously evolving market insights.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED We’re actively seeking to build a team that reflects a wide range of experiences and thinking approaches and would like to encourage applications from candidates with different backgrounds and ways of thinking.
To be successful in this role, however, you would as a minimum need to demonstrate experience in all of the below in your application:
Agile Coaching:
Proven experience in Agile Coaching (with relevant certifications e.g. Kanban, PSM3, coaching or other equivalent qualifications etc.).
Experience in coaching and influencing senior leadership in adopting agile ways of working and behaviors and in product-based delivery.
Agile Toolset:
Working experience of using Agile toolset including
JIRA, JIRA Align and Confluence.
Understanding of Agile Delivery Metrics and data-led decision making.
Evidenced experience in using data and insights to problem solve driving productivity and cadence.
And any experience of these would be really useful:
Agile certifications e.g. PSM 1, PSM 2, PK1 or similar.
